TM3 Attends 2018 GEOINT Symposium

Thomas Moore and Lafayette Thomas attended the 2018 GEOINT Symposium held in Tampa, FL, April 22-25 2018. Hosted and produced by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), a non-profit, non-lobbying educational organization, the annual GEOINT Symposium is the nation’s largest gathering of industry, academia, and government to include Defense, Intelligence and Homeland Security Communities as well as commercial, Fed/Civil, State and Local geospatial intelligence stakeholders.

Each year since 2004, GEOINT Symposia have brought together an exciting agenda of keynote speakers, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and provided attendees a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts, share best practices, and uncover the latest developments from government, military and private-sector leaders.

This year’s theme was “Driving Data to Decisions and Action.” With exponentially increasing data being collected and stored, and subsequent intelligence to be gained, it is imperative to use the information effectively and efficiently to a purposeful end. Among the attendees were 847 government and military personnel and 314 international attendees representing 36 countries.
